Gardens and Grounds
 One of the major attractions of the house is its wonderful landscaping. The lawns are beautiful; the English flower gardens providing a beautiful spot for quiet contemplation or conversation. In the summer there is one garden bed full of hydrangea in magnificent blue, pink and purple hues. One hundred year old trees provide shade and protection from the summer sun. Relax on an Adirondack chair with a glass of lemonade while watching sailboats glide across the harbor.
Path to Harbor Knoll
A shady gravel road with an enchanting water view leads you to Harbor Knoll. Driving through the Entrance Gate, parking is on your right. The grounds are surrounded by a privet hedge and high white picket fence ensuring privacy and calm.
The Garden
The formal English herb garden with lavender, thyme, and Irish moss surrounds a nautical style bird bath and the two old benches provide an idyllic spot to absorb the beauty of the garden and the view of the water.
The Beach
Then there is the beach. We provide chaise lounges on the sand for your comfort. Here you can listen to the gentle lapping of the waves and enjoy cool sea breezes. There is even a dock where you are welcome to fish.
